I have created .psd templates and relevant artwork files (icons) for the new FY21 Emails and added them under—
Active Jobs/CFR/SUPPORTING ART/FY21 Emails
The contents are divided into (3) subfolders: icons, fonts, and images—
- /icons - the .ai file is a master file of icons I have compiled that are similar in style; the flaticon sets I've included are licensed (I have a personal subscription; see license for details—/icons/FLATICON SETS/license-1582932.pdf); I may be speaking out of turn, but I would not recommending trying to find any more icons than the ones I have pulled...
- /fonts - includes the 2 primary fonts that are used in the headlines that overlay [hero] images
- /images - contains (3) .psd files for each of the following email templates: meal planner, multi-subject and promo ends; each .psd contains artboards for all the images in that enl; be mindful of the following—
-
- artboards should be exported @200%; adjust quality to reduce file size; the file size of images from previous emails using that template should be a good frame of reference
- be sure to select the artboard when exporting the image and not the layer (or group of layers) so that the image is the correct dimensions
- export buttons as PNGs and select “Smaller File (8-bit)” to reduce file size automatically
- do not add raster images as they will appear at a significantly lesser quality than the rest of the image
- the smart object layer has been scaled down to 50% so when it is exported at 200% the image maintains its quality
